James Stanton

James Stanton’s extensive background in plant operations, system operations, market design, RTO development, and reliability standards enabled him to assist utilities in their efforts to reach and maintain compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards. Stanton’s career has been a series of variations on the theme, of “I manage electricity” as a system operator to “I buy and sell imaginary electricity” as a power marketer, to the present: “I help people and companies in the electric industry operate more efficiently and reliably.”
