Wright Tree Service today announced that its board of directors has appointed 34 -year industry leader Wade Myers as president.
Promoted from the position of senior vice president of operations, Myers will continue to focus on the company’s mission of safety and operational excellence while bringing a wealth of leadership experience and passion for the industry. He will continue to work from the corporate headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa, under the leadership of Wright Service Corp. Chairman and CEO Scott Packard.
Myers joined WTS as a groundworker in 1987. He advanced from general foreperson, division manager, vice president to senior vice president of operations through exemplary performance and commitment. He has a record of strong leadership, combined with his deep industry knowledge and institutional tenure, which makes Wade uniquely qualified to lead WTS successfully into the future.
“This well-established organization consists of an extremely talented safety-focused team with a long history of expertise in vegetation management services that now stretches across North America and employs nearly 4,000,” said President Wade Myers. “My goal in leading this organization is to build on the achievements of the past 88 years and maintain its high level of standards in safety.”
