North American Training Solutions Announces New Training Courses for Arborists

Arborists can take a variety of different training courses this summer to sharpen their skillset or learn new techniques.

North American Training Solutions is offering courses this summer for the vegetation management professionals. Here are some courses that are coming up for arborists. 

Crane Assisted Rigging and Removal
Dates: July 26-28

This course is for professionals who have primary roles in arboricultural tree removal that utilize cranes and rigging to safely perform their jobs. It is designed for climbers and ground workers, and their various roles and responsibilities on jobsites. Through the CARR course, participants will learn the safe use of mobile cranes when used on an arboricultural worksite. Emphasis on current OSHA and ANSI regulations will be taught throughout the class. Register here. ​​​

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry for Arborists and Utility Forestry Professionals
Dates: June 8, 15, 22 and 29

The OSHA 30-Hour General Industry for Arborists and Utility Forestry Professionals training course is a four-day, 30-hour LIVE video conferencing training program with special emphasis on supervisors. Specifically geared towards arboricultural and green industry workers, the course provides “awareness level” training and is intended to increase awareness of certain factors that contribute to safety risks and injuries among industry personnel, and suggests practices to reduce the risk of injury. A focus on general industry safety and health hazards a worker may encounter on a work site are also discussed, as is an emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. Additionally, the course provides information on employee rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. Register here
