The deadline for abstracts for the Vegetation Management Supplement is right around the corner. If you have an idea for an article for the supplement, please email the following to Field Editor Amy Fischbach by Jan. 8, 2020.
Please submit:
1. Your name, title and company name.
2. A paragraph describing your idea for a story for the supplement. Please keep in mind that we prefer utility bylines or co-bylines, and the stories must focus on best practices, trends and technology rather than on individual products.
3. Ideas for photos, charts and graphs to go along with the story. Note that when you submit photos for the story, we will need one-sentence captions to go along with them.
The articles for the supplement need to be about 1,500 to 2,000 words and include a headline, deck, subheads and an author bio at the end.
If you already have an article or technical paper that you would like for us to review for the supplement, you can email it to Field Editor Amy Fischbach. She will then work with the Utility Arborist Association to review it.
If we decide to work with you on your story idea for the supplement, all FINAL stories, photos and graphics will be due on March 13, 2020.
