Southwest Power & Light, a retail electric provider based in Houston, Texas, has announced its continued official corporate sponsorship of the Arbor Day Foundation.

Southwest Power & Light supports participation in the reforestation efforts of forests in the United States, which are in desperate need of replanting, according to the Arbor Day Foundation.
“By planting trees, Southwest Power & Light is an example of a company that understands the importance of making a positive impact on the earth,” said John Rosenow, chief executive and founder of the Arbor Day Foundation. “The trees planted by Southwest Power & Light will help restore our nation’s forests so future generations can enjoy these places of magnificent splendor.”
