Intergraph Corporation has announced an agreement with ACE Enterprise Slovakia Ltd. to provide its SAP-certified integration software, Geospatial Enterprise Integrator, to Intergraph customers.
Officially introduced at Intergraph 2006, Geospatial Enterprise Integrator allows organizations to seamlessly integrate enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP with geospatial solutions from Intergraph. The ACE solution simplifies the creation and maintenance of interfaces between enterprise systems, and it offers an easy-to-use drag and drop interface. As a result, users become self-sufficient in exploiting and reusing all of the data resources available across a company’s heterogeneous data environment.
In particular, utilities organizations will benefit from the integration of ERP and geospatial solutions. Geospatial Enterprise Integrator will positively impact customer satisfaction while helping to minimize operational costs. A complete geospatial resource management system, organizations can leverage customer information, emergency and service dispatch, compliance and risk management, billing, work management, one-call, and network analysis systems enterprise-wide, all with Web-enabled data access, analysis, and decision support.
“Geospatial Enterprise Integrator streamlines the effort to integrate G/Technology with SAP and other ERP systems, particularly those employed by utilities and communications organizations,” commented Alexander Cimbalak, chief technology officer of ACE Enterprise Slovakia, Ltd. “With Intergraph technology and Geospatial Enterprise Integrator, users can connect interrelated systems such as facilities, customer relationship management, and workforce management, instantly accessible via the Web and mobile technology.”
“Our customers have asked for a simple tool for integrating Intergraph’s utilities solutions with SAP. Intergraph and ACE Enterprise Slovakia are delivering stability, a wide range of functionality, ease of use, and a quick return on investment to customers who choose enterprise integration,” stated Jay Stinson, vice president of Intergraph Utilities & Communications. “Organizations can realize the true value of geospatial data and empower executives responsible for business processes by leveraging Geospatial Enterprise Integrator. This solution enhances process across business systems, resulting in more efficient operations.”
