IT/OT Integration at Electrical Utilities

Cybersecurity has become a critical issue for information technology/operational technology (IT/OT) integration.
This article examines the results of a survey conducted by T&D World editors in November 2015, and provides insights to identify and address the IT/OT integration issues specific to electric utilities. Before presenting the results, the topic is first defined so the reader can better interpret the data, with a goal of applying the survey results within his/her own organization.
