The Impact Disconnect Stick from Hubbell Power Systems is for opening and closing disconnect switches.

The tool uses a slide-hammer mechanism to provide additional force for opening disconnect switches. The poles are made of 1-1/4” diameter Epoxiglas®, meeting ASTM F711 and IEC 60855 standards. It also features NEMA-standard heads of cast bronze.

The product is available in complete sticks, spliced sticks, and conversion kits. The are suitable for opening switches in iced-over conditions as well.
