Load Pick-up Tools
The Hastings load pick-up tool or load pick-up head can be installed with a shotgun stick or with rubber gloves, depending on a company’s safe work practices. Both tools come completely self contained with cocking tool, firing lanyard, and safety latch. Both models have a nominal rating of 27 kV and maximum use ratings of 29.2 kV with a current rating of 300 A.
The head casting is an aluminum alloy and also serves as a storage port for the cocking tool. Clear plastic housing below the head castings allows for quick and easy visual inspection.
