Load Understanding and Model Development

The choice of load model in power system simulation studies is a challenging problem that was discussed in Panel PN23. Chaired by Satish Renade, New Mexico Stare University, the session covered modeling needs and industry practice. Recent work in load understanding and modeling using measurement-based methods was covered by the participants.
