My friend Neil Kirby from Alstom Grid had some interesting things to tell me the other day about his booth. HVDV is a big favorite of mine since I do so much work with the technology in my day job. He is going to have some models I can play with of valves. He is also a good person to discuss converter technology.

He asked me about intelligent storage. Did they make the battery bunny smarter? He told me I would have to visit the Alstom exhibit to find out what is going on. I hate it when people do that to me. I am way to curious for my own good and now I'll have to find out what he is talking about.
