Riaz Mohammed is the Senior Director of Resiliency and Environmental Policy at the Edison Electric Institute. In this role, Riaz works on a wide range of energy and environmental regulatory, legislative, and policy issues, with an emphasis on issues relating to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Environmental Policy Act. Riaz also works on regulatory and policy issues relating to mitigating the impact of extreme weather, with a focus on wildfires, and on grid reliability. Riaz received a B.A. in political science from the University of Ottawa, and a M.A. and J.D. from Vermont Law School.
