Utilicon Solutions, Ltd. Announces Acquisition of American Electrical Testing Co., Inc.
July 7, 2009, Philadelphia, PA and Canton, MA –- Asplundh Tree Expert Co. and its subsidiary Utilicon Solutions, Ltd. announced today they have completed a stock acquisition of American Electrical Testing Co., Inc. (AETCO), based in Canton, MA. In business for more than 30 years, AETCO's services include acceptance testing, commissioning and start-up services, engineering services, preventive and predictive maintenance programs and infrared surveys.
This acquisition is a win-win for both UtiliCon and AETCO. UtiliCon expands the scope of services it offers to its extensive customer base, while AETCO receives the organizational and financial support required to continue its growth.
Both AETCO President/CEO Charlie Blizard, Jr. and Vice President of Field Operations Scott Blizard remain in their current positions and will report to UtiliCon Solutions Vice President Greg Holman.
