CHARLOTTE, N.C. March 7, 2013– SOS Intl has added three new staff members, each with extensive expertise in the energy industry. The new hires are: Delsey Brown as Operations Manager, and Andy Burch and Nancy DeLeon, both Senior Training and Compliance Consultants.

Delsey Brown, Operations Manager, worked for SOS as an independent contractor in the training development area before joining the team full time. Prior to that, she spent 23 years with Duke Energy in many roles including Relay Engineer and Supervisor of Transmission Training.
As Technical Training Manager at Duke, Delsey was responsible for the daily operations of the technical, operational, NERC and compliance training for the Southern, Central, and Northern regions of Power Delivery as well as the System Operations Center and Transmission Control Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.
Andy Burch, Senior Training and Compliance Consultant, previously worked for Electric Energy, Inc. (EEI) for more than 15 years in such roles as Operations Supervisor, Senior Training Supervisor and Systems Superintendent. He was responsible for developing and monitoring processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all the NERC standards.
Prior to working at EEI, Andy was a Quality Assurance Engineer and Engineering Program Administrator at Martin Marietta Utility Systems, Inc. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1988-1992, where he completed Naval Nuclear Power School and served on the nuclear powered submarine USS Henry L. Stimson.
Nancy DeLeon, Senior Training and Compliance Consultant, joins SOS from North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) where she was the Personnel Certification Manager responsible for managing the NERC Exam Development Process and other staff training development activities.
Before NERC, she was employed with Duke Energy for 22 years in the roles of System Operator & Technical Specialist, Reliability Operator and Lead System Coordinator and Technical Trainer. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and has completed several master’s level courses in Training and Development.
