3-GIS will be demonstrating Command Center, an Esri-enabled Operational Picture and Situational Awareness solution. Command Center, designed to be utilized to follow, visualize, and manage daily operations in a single view, can quickly flash-over into an integrated Emergency Operations Command Center when an incident presents itself. The daily operational configuration can show crew locations, network status, customer issues, meter statuses, weather, and identify operational challenges and opportunities. When faced with major operational events (ice storms, hurricanes, earth quakes), 3-GIS Command Center quickly reconfigures to take the role of a data aggregation engine to inform the Operations Center of impact assessment and degree of damage – in a single view. With that data quickly aggregated, the OC Manager can then coordinate (including data-fusion) with local EMA, hospitals, rescue organizations, volunteers, and supply chain participants to begin rapid recovery and restoration.
