Electric Grid Requirements for the Keystone Pipeline

Q: How much electric power will be needed to pump the oil through the pipeline? Also, doesn't the oil need to be kept hot? Will new transmission lines be required to supply the electric power for the pipeline? And, finally, is this electrical energy, required to operate the pipeline, counted as part of the carbon footprint of the Canadian tar sands oil?
