Using the power of musical melodies and carefully crafted lyrics, artists have conveyed the grit, courage and passion of the line trade. In a new monthly series for T&D World's field audience, we are releasing specially curated playlists that celebrate lineworkers. This playlist was inspired by another brand for Endeavor Business Media, Construction Equipment, which offers another playlist that you may enjoy called "Joystick Jams."

Our first playlist, "Living the Line Life," shines the spotlight on those songs that are all about the line trade. One of the first songs that may come to mind is "Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell, but did you know it has many variations?  On this playlist, we are including several renditions by James Taylor, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Webb (featuring Billy Joel), and R.E.M.

Beyond this popular song, there are many other melodies about the line trade on this one-hour-long playlist, which includes 18 songs. If there is a song that you think we should add to this playlist, please email it to Amy Fischbach, Head of Content for T&D World

Also, if you have a playlist that you listen to in your bucket truck while you're on the road or while relaxing from home, please share it with us or message us through Linemen World on Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you!
