Family Fun at the 2026 Rodeo
For more than 40 years, the International Lineman's Rodeo has had one mission — to safely showcase lineworkers' skills to their loved ones. Over the last 20 years I've been covering the line trade, I've also brought my own family out to the Rodeo grounds.
As a mom of five, I've had a lot of wonderful memories with my kids at the International Lineman's Rodeo. I remember pushing my toddler twins (who are now 10 years old) around in a double stroller, going up in the bucket truck for the first time with my son, Paul, enjoying the delicious food on the grounds with my son, John, and husband, Dave, and taking photos on the grounds with my daughter, Lily.
While my family couldn't make it to this year's Rodeo, I had a lot of fun with members of the T&D World team on the Rodeo grounds. We brought out the inner kid in us by riding the train and the wagon and going up in the bucket truck ride. This gallery showcases the family photos I took during the International Lineman's Rodeo Week. It also includes shots taken by Grace Chandler, Nikki's daughter, who also designed the temporary tattoos and T-shirts for T&D World's booth at the International Lineman's Expo.
If you have photos you'd like to add to this gallery or feature in T&D World, please email them to me so I can put you in the spotlight.
