For the last decade, we have showcased images of linemen hard at work in our full-page photo department: Parting Shot. This department is published each month in our field-focused Electric Utility Operations section within Transmission & Distribution World magazine.
This photo gallery takes a look at the images from the last year. In 2019, we featured photos of everything from linemen volunteering their time and talents in Guatemala to apprentices learning the trade. We also featured the top winner of the 2019 Lineman Life photography contest, "By the Light of the Moon," in our Parting Shot.
In addition, when we launched our new Instagram page @LinemenWorld, we also showcased one of our favorite shot of the year: a lineman cradling his newborn son in his work gloves.
