Washington Wind Storms: Linemen Respond to Tree-Caused Outages

Puget Sound Energy gets hit with a trio of wind storms in mid-December and early January.

A trio of wind storms hit Puget Sound Energy's service territory in late December and early January, knocking out power to its customers. In turn, linemen from not only the utility, but also mutual assistance crews and contractors, worked together to get the lights back on. 

The March Electric Utility Operations section will feature an in-depth story on the damage caused by the restoration as well as the repair process, but the following photo gallery shows some snapshots from the recent storms.
