Milwaukee Tool introduces six new outdoor striking hand tools engineered to withstand the most demanding jobsite applications.

  • 8 lb. and 10 lb. Sledge Hammers (36-in. Handle)
Milwaukee’s 8 lb. and 10 lb. Sledge Hammers offer durability and vibration reduction. SECURESTRIKE prevents heads from loosening during aggressive jobsite applications. Both hammers feature the strongest steel‑reinforced fiberglass handle for overstrike protection and a SHOCKSHIELD handle for reduced vibration and fatigue.
  • 5 lb. Pick Mattock (36-in. Handle)
The 5 lb. Pick Mattock features SECURESTRIKE to help prevent head dislodgement during demanding jobsite applications. A steel‑reinforced fiberglass handle delivers the strongest overstrike protection, while SHOCKSHIELD™ reduces user fatigue when striking through hard topsoil.
  • 8LB Splitting Maul (36-in. Handle)
Designed for aggressive jobsite applications, the 8lb Splitting Maul delivers durable performance and vibration reduction. SECURESTRIKE helps prevent head dislodgement, while the steel‑reinforced fiberglass handle delivers overstrike protection for long‑lasting durability. The SHOCKSHIELD handle provides vibration reduction to minimize fatigue when striking wedges or splitting large rounds.
  • 36-in. Splitting Axe
Built for efficient wood splitting, the 36-in. Splitting Axe delivers the quickest splits for maximum productivity. The precision‑beveled blade achieves optimal sharpness to bite into wood fibers, making it efficient to open rounds with fewer swings. A lightweight handle enables balanced swings to reduce fatigue, while stainless steel overstrike protection prevents splintering during mistrikes. A protective blade sheath is included for safe storage and transport.
  • 5 lb. Splitting Wedge
Engineered for maximum splitting efficiency, the 5 lb. Splitting Wedge features wide wings to more effectively separate rounds. A precision‑beveled edge makes setting easier, while the rust‑resistant blade maintains sharpness. Forged steel construction increases durability across repeated heavy‑impact use, and the large, rounded striking surface reduces misstrikes during wood‑splitting tasks.

The 8 lb. Sledge Hammer (36-in. Handle), 10 lb. Sledge Hammer (36-in. Handle), 5 lb. Pick Mattock and 8 lb. Splitting Maul feature a tether‑ready handle with a reinforced lanyard hole. For more information, visit the website
