When linemen and their families walk into the Overland Park Convention Center this October, they will see a new pole trailer from White's Welding, LLC, and Line Gear Rentals in the hallway outside of the exhibit hall. This trailer will be awarded to the top journeyman team at the 2022 International Lineman's Rodeo.
Following the event, the company will arrange a time and date to personally deliver the trailer to the winner's location for a meet and greet.
Here are some features of the Model 24K Pole Trailer:
- Length: Extendable length from 31 ft to 47 ft with six equal intervals at 32 ft apart.
- Width: 8 ft OAW with 95 in. Bolsters OAW (90.5 in. useable width).
- Running Gear: Two 12,000-lb dual wheel axel with oil bath hubs.
- Brakes: 12 1/4-in. by 5-in. electric with self-charging break-away system.
- Landing Gear: 12,000-lb static drop leg jack.
- Wheels: 16 in., 8-hole steel
- Tires: 235/80R 16-in. 14-ply
- Tongue: 8 in. by 1/4 in. and 10 by 1/4 in. square tube; telescopes on rollers and UHMW
