For the last 13 years, T&D World has profiled apprentice and journeymen linemen, troublemen and field managers in the Lifeline department of the field-focused Electric Utility Operations section. Thanks to a new sponsorship from Milwaukee Tool, the linemen profiled in the magazine starting in September 2020 will receive a tool package from the company.
For example, Milwaukee presented Ray Knott, a troubleshooter for Omaha Public Power District, with an array of different tools to help him with his job as a troubleshooter. In addition, the company donated some tools for his son, who is just starting line school.
