Be a Holiday Hero: Give to a Lineman's Child

Dec. 20, 2019
The NSUJL launched a new program to help support linemen's children.

When linemen get injured, their children and families often deal with unplanned financial stress in not only the weeks, but also the months and years after the incident. To get children back to a regular routine, the National Sisterhood United of Journeymen Linemen (NSUJL)- now offers a program to give children extra support and attention.

The NSUJL created the program, which is called "A Lineman's Child," in response to the needs of the line kids whose lives have been forever changed due to work accidents.

If you are looking for a way to give back this holiday season, consider donating to the program. Currently, the NSUJL offers two different giving levels--$10 a month to give one child over the age of 13 or two under the age of 13 birthday gifts and $50 a month to give a child both birthday gifts and the opportunity to attend a summer camp.
