Ariat's new Linesman Ridge boots are designed for extreme outdoor environments. They feature a tempered steel shank reinforced with a full-length stability board for climbing support. The footwear has an oil and slip resistant Vibram fire and ice outsole with Ariat's debris release tread design, which passes the hot contact test at 300 deg C. The boots also include a moisture-wicking layer and a heel pillow, which absorbs impact.
The Linesman Ridge GTX boots are made from waterproof, full-grain leather, GORE-TEX waterproof construction, a rebound foam insole and a mesh lining with leather collar lining. The non-metallic composite safety toe is ATSM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH rated. The GTX 400 G boots also include a 400 g Thinsulate insulation for extra warmth. The boots are available in the "bitter brown" color with either a 6 in. or 10 in. upper.
