    St. Louis-based Ameren Corp. sent more than 650employees and contractors from its Ameren Illinois and Ameren Missouri subsidiaries to support Hurricane Sandy restoration efforts. Ameren primarily assisted Public Service Electric and Gas in New Jersey. In addition, the company sent more than 250 bucket trucks and material trucks.
