Jeff White is the director, Human Performance at Think Power Solutions. Jeff White is a Human Performance Consultant with over 40 years of experience in the electric power industry. Jeff began his career with Alabama Power Company as a utilityman and progressing through the ranks to journeyman lineman on both transmission and distribution line crews.
Jeff has worked in the corporate safety and health organization at Alabama Power Company as an engineering and construction supervisor at Gulf Power Company and at Mississippi Power Company as its Safety and Skills Training Manager. While in this role, Jeff served as the chair of the Southeastern Electric Exchange’s (SEE) Accident Prevention Section. Jeff was a core team member of the North American Transmission Forum’s (NATF) Human Performance Practices Group as well as the chair of the Southern Company Human Performance Council. Jeff served in this role until he retired from Southern Company in February 2018.
Jeff established his own company teaching Human Performance fundamentals for frontline workers, supervisors and managers for a number of clients including PowerSouth, Dominion Energy, TVA, Applied Learning Science, TRC, Chain Electric, Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Mid-American Electric. Jeff holds a BS in business from Troy University.
