Tracy Warren

Tracy Warren is director of the Macro Grid Initiative, which seeks to expand and upgrade the nation's transmission network to deliver job growth and economic development, a cleaner environment, and lower costs for consumers. Warren has more than 20 years of communications and advocacy experience in the public policy arena and more than 10 years in the electric utility industry. She served as external communications lead for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, focusing on grid modernization, renewable energy development, and beneficial electrification. Her experience includes managing state and national media and public awareness campaigns, serving as press secretary for a presidential campaign and two congressional offices, and directing communications for national issue advocacy and trade organizations. Warren has a BA and MA from the University of Virginia.
