Dr. David T. Young, P.E., is a professor in the UNC Charlotte Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and until recently he served as the director of the IDEAS (Sustainability) Center and the director of the INES PhD Program, and currently he serves as the Associate Director of the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC). He is a registered professional engineer in NC and SC, and started and managed his own forensics engineering firm for 12 years, he continues to consult and give seminars and has published 100+ articles and reports on his work.
