Logan Thompson joined Wood County Electric Cooperative (WCEC) in July 2017 as the project engineer. He is responsible for large-scale projects, maintaining operation of the SCADA system, overseeing system inspection and maintenance, supervising the WCEC’s Metering and Power Quality department and assisting with miscellaneous operations. Prior to joining the WCEC, Logan worked as a consultant engineer designing substation, transmission and distribution facilities. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
