November 26, 2012, Hampton, Georgia -- Raj Anand, President and CEO of Southern States, LLC announced the promotion of Jeff Howe to the position of Vice President & General Manager – Power Switching Division.

Jeff joined Southern States in 2008 as the General Manager of PSD. In addition to continuing to lead PSD in North America, Jeff will join the Board of Directors of Coelme SPA and work more closely with the Company’s European operations to position PSD for worldwide expansion.

“Jeff’s leadership has contributed greatly to the growth PSD has experienced, particularly in the last two years,” stated Mr. Anand. “I’m confident his exceptional management and leadership skills will continue to significantly contribute to the Company’s success.”

Prior to joining Southern States Jeff spent 15 years with Siemens Energy & Automation, where he held several leadership positions. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
