To contain the spread of the coronavirus, cities and states nationwide are encouraging social distancing, the temporary shutdown of local businesses and the cancellation of social events.
In unprecedented times like these, T&D World is celebrating those individuals and utilities who go above and beyond the call of duty to help their friends, family members and neighbors in their time of need. For example, two Georgia Power linemen recently rescued three puppies thrown out inside of a dumpster, according to a story on KIRO 7. The linemen discovered the puppies while on the job on Feb. 27.
