Mojix has announced Mojix Insight, a passive RFID Real-Time Location System (RTLS) software application that provides first tier visibility for asset and process management. A packaged solution offered with the Mojix STAR system, Mojix Insight provides rapid out-of-the-box deployment of a complete end-to-end RTLS solution. The new solution couples the Mojix STAR system’s unique capability to track the location of assets and goods using low-cost passive RFID tags, with a highly scalable RTLS application that provides immediate access to information needed to improve asset use and operating efficiencies.
“Organizations needing to locate and track goods and assets in warehouses, storage yards and corporate facilities now have access to a complete software and hardware passive RFID solution from a single vendor, eliminating complexity of deployment and gaining faster access to valuable real-time information,” said Ramin Sadr, CEO, Mojix Inc. “In addition, Mojix Insight provides the flexibility to work in conjunction with a broad range of software systems and vertical market applications found in customer environments to tap the power of passive RFID for RTLS use cases.”
Mojix Insight can integrate to enterprise and backend (WMS) systems, provide dynamic business logic, and display consolidated, real-time information on top of imaging, mapping and other visual reference media. Ease of integration is also provided for other middleware, databases, and industry-specific supply chain management applications. A standards-based system, Mojix Insight, supports commonly used devices found in RTLS implementations such as PLCs, optical eyes, and light stacks. The software is fully extensible to support complex business rules, business process, custom alerts, telemetry devices and passive and active RFID devices.
Mojix Insight Features & Functions
Mojix Insight offers management features that enable users to model assets and customize attributes for specific business processes.
