LogicaCMG has signed an agreement with @Road, Inc. that enables LogicaCMG to integrate, market and resell the @Road Taskforce Field Service Management software to North American utilities as part of LogicaCMG’s Asset and Resource Management (ARM) product suite. LogicaCMG’s integration of Taskforce and its intelligent resource synchronization capabilities with the ARM product suite will give utilities an optimization tool designed to meet both fixed and unplanned service commitments, reduce service, maintenance and construction costs, and exceed customer service delivery expectations.
LogicaCMG’s ARM product suite delivers a unified solution that enables energy and utility organizations to manage assets and resources end to end, from the back office to the field. ARM includes work management, asset management, mobile computing, compliance tracking, scheduling and dispatching optimization and reporting capabilities.
The @Road agreement enables LogicaCMG to add further offerings to an expanding solutions portfolio that was most recently enhanced by LogicaCMG’s acquisition of Worksuite LLC, as announced Feb. 1, 2006. With this acquisition, LogicaCMG now serves a client base of nearly 50 North American utilities that serve over 125 million utility end user customers.
Taskforce is part of the @Road family of Mobile Resource Management solutions designed to help businesses large and small optimize the field service delivery process by automating the management of their mobile workers, their mobile workers' work and their mobile workers' assets. The underlying technology behind Taskforce makes use of several forms of patented artificial-intelligence algorithms that are designed to coordinate people, skills, resources and assets, constantly seeking to automatically optimize the best field service delivery solution at a given time.
