Brainware Launches Visibility for Real-Time Reporting

Brainware, Inc. has released Brainware Visibility, a new dashboard and reporting package for Brainware Distiller, the company's flagship product. Visibility gives business process owners the information and insight they need to optimize their data capture environment and streamline operations. Real-time access to key performance indicators about the status of every document processed through Distiller allows users to quickly navigate from high-level performance to document-level detail with a few mouse clicks.

"Brainware customers tell us that they're overwhelmed with data and yet they're starved for meaningful information about their core business processes," says Charles Kaplan, vice president of Marketing and Product Management for Brainware. "With Brainware Visibility, they have immediate access to the metrics and key performance indicators to know where every document in Brainware Distiller is, how the system is performing, and where they need to focus their time and attention. Visibility's web-based dashboard, reporting, and analytics capabilities are both powerful and easy to use, giving business users the ability to configure and view critical information without having to call on IT. Additionally, users can set threshold-based notifications that proactively alert them when specific conditions arise. This means users spend less time collecting data and more time working with their suppliers, customers, partners, and employees to streamline their operations and improve margins."

Brainware Distiller provides fast, template-free data extraction from any document type for auto-processing to SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems or DMS repositories. Distiller routinely speeds document processing by 60% to 80%, automatically extracting line-item detail from large documents and tables, sharply reducing the need for manual review, data entry, or scripting.
