Serge Montambault holds a BSME degree and a PhD degree in robotics from Laval University. In 1997, he joined Institut de recherche d’Hydro-Québec (IREQ) as a researcher. In 2013, he was appointed manager of expertise for the inspection and maintenance robotics unit.
