Ulrich Klapper, born 1967 in Hard, Austria. He studied electrical engineering at the distance learning University of Hagen, where he obtained his undergraduate engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in 1997. He has had various jobs at OMICRON electronics since 1998 and is currently product manager for protection and measuring system testing solutions.
