Finjan Awarded New Patent for Security Technology

The European Patent Office has granted Finjan Patent No. EP 0 965 094 B1 entitled "System and Method for Protecting a Computer and a Network from Hostile Downloadables."

Features of the patent include techniques to examine executable application programs in real-time and to proactively prevent them from being passed to client computers in case a security policy is violated.
