Manuel Gutierrez ([email protected]) has been with SCE for 14 years. During that time, he was one of the primary transmission engineers on the Tehachapi renewable transmission project (TRTP), which allowed for an increase of 4500 MW of renewable energy capacity to the Southern California region. Most recently, his work includes the transmission line rating remediation (TLRR) projects that ensure SCE lines meet current clearance standards and line ratings. Gutierrez holds a BSEE degree from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA degree from the University of Redlands.
