Dr. Davide Piccagli is automation and innovative solutions product leader at CESI Group. He received his doctor's degree in telecommunication engineering in 2007 at Politecnico di Milano with a specialization in digital signal processing. Since the same year, he has been working for CESI, a world leader in consulting and engineering services for electrical utilities, electrical industries, and global producers of electromechanical components and automation devices. He has been involved in various consulting activities in Italy and abroad, dealing with smart grids, communication protocols, and system security. He got an Information Security Management Master at Cefriel (MIP, Politecnico di Milano) in 2018. He has published more than 10 technical articles that have been presented in international conferences and workshops. He has been a member of WG C4.34 Cigrè regarding wide area monitoring systems technologies.
