Abstract: Join Susan Smith from Salt River Project (SRP) as she explains the solutions SRP is pursuing to meet changing business demands for large-volume shared data sets. At SRP, business units are shifting away from one-off vertical solutions to holistic enterprise solutions that can answer the questions and needs of multiple organizations. This transition will result in an explosion in the volume and velocity of data as silos are broken down and data is treated as an asset. The representative will discuss how SRP is getting ahead of the curve with enterprise data strategies, data usage agreements, common analytics environments and strategies to offload targeted big data processing loads.
