SensorTran, provider of distributed temperature sensing (DTS) systems and technology, has opened an office in UK as it continues to realize its global expansion program.
With its headquarters in Austin, Texas, the UK office will serve its growing worldwide customer-base by providing an increased level of sales and after-sales support for its Oil & Gas, Power, Process, and Pipeline markets.
Located in Southampton, England, the UK office is expected to have eight employees within the next six months with emphasis in sales, support engineering, and field service, aimed at providing complete customer satisfaction from inquiry through installation and operation.
Paul Nicholls, chief marketing officer, will head the new office. Paul has extensive and specific experience of the global DTS industry dating back to 2000.
