Consolidated Electric Cooperative in Missouri has chosen Milsoft’s Field Engineering solution.

“Consolidated Electric Cooperative has added Field Engineering to Milsoft’s Engineering Analysis, Outage Management and Geographic Information System ,” said Milsoft Regional Account Manager Josh Wolf, “It will streamline the process of designing, inspecting and placing new facilities into service.”

“This will enable us to more quickly and accurately update our system data and circuit model as additions or modifications are made to the electric distribution system,” said Operations Superintendent Carl Aulbur. “We especially appreciate how the application integrates with the other applications in Milsoft Core E&O.”

Milsoft Field Engineering makes the work of a field engineering crew easier and faster by eliminating paper maps, physical documents and repetitive data entry as well as automatically populating the engineering, operations and geographic information data bases. It is one of the many applications in Milsoft Core E&O, which integrates Milsoft’s software in the first ever seamlessly integrated, server-based engineering and operations software system. Core E&O fully incorporates a detailed electric distribution circuit model for use in planning, analysis and operations. It includes project management tools to enable employees to work with the data that they require to do their job. The system has been designed to seamlessly integrate with the other applications and data that the utility is using.

Consolidated Electric Cooperative, headquartered in Mexico, Missouri, serves more than 7,840 homes, farms, businesses and industries through more than 2,240 miles of power lines in seven counties. The utility has been in operation for 74 years.
