Cooper Power Systems is increasing base prices of various products as set forth below. These increases will apply to all new quotations to utility, industrial, and international customers given on or after March 13, 2006. This date also serves as the date of notice for any agreements in place that require a notification period before any price increases may take affect.

Reclosers Filled with Mineral Oil: 4%
Capacitor Switches Filled with Mineral Oil: 4%
Padmount Switchgear Filled with Mineral Oil and SF6: 4%
M-Force Switches: 4%
Sectionalizers Filled with Mineral Oil: 4%
Capacitor products All: 7%
This increase is necessitated by the continued escalation in costs associated with various raw materials. Cooper expects the strong global demand for raw materials to continue in 2006. In an environment of tight supply, Cooper Power Systems has taken aggressive actions in its sourcing policies and practices to maintain the material flow necessary to serve the demand for distribution switchgear products.
