With the aim of giving key Italian customers a detailed view of AREVA T&D’s complete high-voltage product range offer, the third AREVA T&D High-Voltage Days were held on May 10, 2007. Sponsored by the Italian office of AREVA T&D’s International Sales Organization, it was organized at the Rivalta Castle in the Piacenza province, south of Milan, Italy, and followed the successful and recent High-Voltage Days event in China.
Among the key HV products presented, customers were given a more detailed view of the complete GIS product offering. Approximately 90 customers attended this successful event, which focused on the T155 380 kV GIS with its reduced space requirements and spring operating mechanism. AREVA T&D’s 380 kV GIS is the leader on the Italian utility market, having been supplied equipment to all the 380 kV GIS Italian substations in the last five years. The event also focused on our F35 145 kV GIS with an integrated protection and control system. Pre-integrated and factory tested GIS means less on-site operations, thus quicker energizing, an important benefit for customers.
