Eugene Water and Electric Board Selects R. W. Beck to Support AMI Initiative

The Eugene Water and Electric Board, Oregon’s largest public utility, selected R. W. Beck to provide consulting services in support of EWEB’s AMI and meter data management initiative.

The Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB), Oregon’s largest public utility, has selected R. W. Beck to provide consulting services in support of EWEB’s AMI and meter data management initiative. R. W. Beck will help EWEB develop a thorough cost-benefit analysis to establish an AMI business case, and identify, capture and quantify a range of benefits AMI technology will provide both to EWEB operations and its customers.

Following the business case development, R. W. Beck will help the EWEB team develop and specify technology and system requirements necessary to deliver the desired benefits, and support EWEB in the procurement of AMI technology.

EWEB provides electric services to 88,000 residences, businesses and other municipal customers, and water services to 51,000 similar customers in Eugene, Oregon
