This partnership combines Bit Stew's industrial automation solution for Utilities, Grid Director, with the Trilliant Smart Communications Platform, to simplify the deployment and management of smart grids.
At the heart of Grid Director is the MIx Core artificial intelligence engine that enables complex event processing, advanced analytics, sophisticated machine intelligence, and predictive automation. The MIx Core has scalability to support billions of networked devices with trillions of data points and is ideal for real-time, distributed industrial automation applications.
Trilliant's Smart Communications Platform is purpose-built for the energy industry enabling utilities to securely and reliably deploy Smart Grid applications, such as Distribution Automation, Advanced Metering Infrastructure and Demand Side Management, on one powerful network.
When operating as an integrated solution, Grid Director will receive data from the Trilliant platform and present it in a unified view to the Operations Center as well as combine it with data from other disparate sensor systems in the field. Together, Trilliant and Bit Stew help utility customers simplify their field systems, reduce network overhead, and provide much-needed functionality for large meter and sensor deployments of the future.
