On the hottest of summer days, the iciest of winter days, and every day in between, your customers expect nothing less than a steady supply of high quality, affordable power.

Utilities are increasingly relying on demand response applications to help meet these expectations, by automating their peak shaving, voltage reduction, and load shedding activities. Whether you’re looking to reduce costs, prevent brownouts, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of operations during high pressure events, or participate in conservation voltage regulation (CVR) programs, demand response is the solution.

Join this webinar to hear two U.S. utilities share their experiences with demand response applications. You’ll learn why they implemented the solutions, how they set up their system, and the benefits they’ve experienced. You’ll hear how:

  • Farmers Electric Cooperative in Texas used Rotational Load Shedding to meet massive load shedding targets for 3 days during the 2021 winter ice storm
  • Consolidated Cooperative uses Dynamic Voltage Regulation to automate peak demand reduction and realize significant cost savings
  • Load Curtailment and Volt/VAR Optimization can be used to reduce load, minimize loss, conserve energy, and reduce voltage

Speakers:

Shaun Chronister, Manager of Engineering, Farmers Electric Cooperative

Shaun joined Farmers Electric Cooperative over 13 years ago as an Electrical Engineer and is currently their Manger of Engineering.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel and is currently pursuing his professional engineering license in the state of Texas.  Shaun has a background in an array of distribution engineering functions including overhead & underground distribution line design, system planning, protection & controls, SCADA, and substations.
