TRC Awarded Contract to Support Expansion of Maine’s Transmission System

TRC Companies, Inc. has been awarded an $11.4 million contract by Central Maine Power (CMP) to provide engineering, design and procurement services associated with the modification and expansion of five existing substations.

TRC Companies, Inc. has been awarded an $11.4 million contract by Central Maine Power (CMP) to provide engineering, design and procurement services associated with the modification and expansion of five existing substations. The project is part of CMP’s Maine Power Reliability Program (MPRP) to modernize the State’s transmission system.

Under the contract, TRC will deliver detailed designs for the expansion of the five substations, both 345 kV and 115 kV in size. TRC will also manage the procurement of materials associated with design and construction and will provide overall project management services.
