Metabo Corp. introduces a kit featuring its PowerMaxx cordless drill/driver, one of the smallest, lightest and most powerful of its type on the market. The PowerMaxx kit includes the drill/driver, a lightweight carrying case, two batteries and a charger. The PowerMaxx is ideal for field operations work applications that require getting into tight spaces.
The PowerMaxx is ergonomically designed for user comfort and easy operation and weighs only 1.5 lb. The slim handle reduces user fatigue. The switch is designed for both right- and left-handed operation, and the forward/reverse lever can be switched with just one finger. The magnetic quarter-inch hex tool holder guarantees a quick bit change.
The tool's two-speed gearbox and soft-start motor deliver a no-load speed of 0 rpm to 200 rpm in screw mode and 0 rpm to 600 rpm in drill mode. Adjustable torque settings ensure proper torque for each job; maximum torque is 80 inches/lb. The gear housing is constructed of industrial-strength metal to ensure long service life.
